It has been a year since Saul has passed away and it still feels like it just happened yesterday.
Fall is around the corner and although I am happy we are not in the 100 degrees weather anymore, the feeling of fall is unpleasant. I still remember the day and this nice breeze brings back memories (sad memories).

As my little Brianna gets older she looks more and more like him. She is a beautiful and blessing gift Saul has left us. It saddens me how he can't be here to see how fast she is growing and how much she is learning! But, I know he is watching over her and protecting her.



May he rest in peace.
He will always be missed but never forgotten.

And I know one day we will ALL be reunited again!

 My mother is the person i admire the most.

She is the nicest, generous, most hard working and good-hearted person i know!

Field day!

Ivan had his 1st field day today!

He was so competitive and wanted to participate in everything... well except the jump rope!

He is the fastest runner in the whole pre-k!

He got a first place award!

I know he will be so good in sports!

 He always wanted to be first.

Our new family member Jaslene Mata!!!

I am very thankful with our God for blessing our family with a healthy baby girl. She is so adorable and she is too cute that I want to put her in my pocket and carry her where ever I go. When Tere found out she was having a girl she was thrilled and so was I. Now my daughter bre bre will have someone to play with. Even though Jaycek and her have become buddies, it's not the same because he is a boy and he doesn't like to play with girl toys. So I am pretty sure that Jaslene is going to become the bff of my little Brianna. I can't wait to start building memories with my first niece and share many happy moments with her. Every moment in our lives are very precious because we will never be in that moment ever again. There is nothing more beautiful in this world than to love and be love in return, with that being said we all welcome Jaslene with open arms and open hearts.

Peer pressure

Peer pressure- pressure by members of one's peer group to take a certain action, adopt certain values, or otherwise conform in order to be accepted.

Sooner or later you will be peer pressured, either to do something or change something of yourself.
It mainly happens in middle school i was doing this project for my govt class and it surprised me how many people get bullied or peer pressured.
I have been peer pressured, or at least they tried to, but i never allowed it to happen.
Don't let peer pressure dominate you! Learn who you are and what you want.
Set boundaries for yourself and be comfortable with who you are.
It doesn't matter if you are different or have a different style, that's what makes you.
i used to worry a lot about what people would think or say and i learn not to give a crap anymore.
Live life with no worries.

People can pressure you to do a lot of things and if you do NOT feel comfortable doing it DON'T!!! if you ever need to get out of a situation and you don't know how you can call us or even your parents. We used to be so afraid into telling our parents about things like this because we thought we would get in trouble but once we did our parents were on our side. They want to help you and they want a better life for you all. so don't hesitate on talking about your problems to your parents.

There's so much more to this but maybe once you all get a little older or if we hear about a situation we will go more into detail.

Have fun in school and help someone! One day the favor will be returned :)

I am lucky to have a cousin like you who cares a lot about my baby girl. You are a great uncle to my kid and I appreciate all the love you give her. My baby's birthday just passed and I feel like I have the best baby girl in the whole wide world. I feel so blessed to have my baby girl by my side and I am really thankful with god for giving my little girl one more year of life. She's growing up so fast and it makes me happy and sad at the same time. Every day that passes by she reminds me more of her dad. He would've been so proud of her. He loved her with all his heart and never wanted anything bad to happened to her. When I was pregnant he wanted a boy but when I had her he was so happy. I asked him do you want a boy or this baby girl and he said I want her because she is mine. She's my daughter and I love her. Then the camera guy came and took pictures of him and her together. I had never seen him so happy. Even though he is no longer with us, he lives in my heart and I am going to share all of my memories of him with our daughter. I know my baby girl will be so proud of being his daughter. I hope god guides my baby girl to the right path and give her lots of love, happiness and life.I am glad that my baby is surrounded by people who really love her. I tell people that my baby is spoiled not spoiled cuz of money, spoiled of love. Safety!

Hello Kiddos!
i hope ya'll are enjoying school anyways i wanted to talk to ya'll about safety!!!
-Always be aware of your surroundings!
-If there's a car that keeps driving by your house and keeps staring at your house write down the license plate #  and a description of the car/truck!
-Always keep a bat under your bed or something heavy!
-Call 911 immediately if someone is breaking inside your house (you can go to your neighbors house and dial so you wont be inside with the intruder)
-Don't walk with your head down! i read somewhere that attackers who see people with their head down are an easy target.
-Use your key as a weapon while walking to your car/truck!
-Check to see if everything is fine with your car/truck (ex. no flat tires, no one underneath the car, no broken windows)

Be cautious where ever you are and in what ever you do! At home, school, mall etc., there's not a place where you can be safe.
Just keep your eyes open. When you go somewhere and your parents tell you to be careful that's because they mean it you never know what can happen. Like my mom has always told us "En un segundo te puede cambiar la vida."

Back to school!

Hi kiddos! So today yall went back to school and I know that yall weren't ready to go back. So look at it in a positive way.You get to see your friends and get out of your house for a while. New year's resolution

My first new year resolution is to stay healthy by eating healthy and exercising. I always wanted to eat healthy but I never took it seriously. I was always too lazy to exercise. So I hope this year I can pull through and actually do it.

My second resolution is to keep my word. I always say I am going to do something or promise things and I don't keep my word. My husband was great on keeping his word and many people respected him because of that.

My third is making good deeds. When I do a good deed I feel good so I want to see if I could do at least one everyday and see if it helps me become a better person.

So I hope this new year brings yall and us nothing but good news.What is something you didn't do last year and wished you could have done?

 I have many stuff that I wished I could have done in 2010, all of it is about my husband and his death. It's really hard and still too soon to talk about his death but even though 2010 was the worst year of my life it's also my most precious because it has the last memories of saul, me, and our daughter together.

Well kids all of yall start school tomorrow so i just wanted to say
-pay attention
-listen
-be on time
-say please, thank you, excuse me, etc.,
-if one of your friends forgot his/her lunch money and if you have extra buy his/her lunch. In the future when you need something that friend will be there for you!
-ignore rude comments or people "staring" at you
-behave

well i think that's pretty much it. have a great school semester! make me proud and be the best! you don't have to be the best of everything but it doesn't hurt to try. have fun and make memories.
if you get in trouble just remember here in 2 years we all are going to be laughing about it.
